Challenge card #3

This one really gave me hard time. So I opted for a simple card... The result is actually quite satisfying...
and in case you were wondering and didn't know yet, here is what we started with:

Mel's first TAC party was a hit! We got to sample some of the TAC products and make those great cards, with the best demonstrator ever! She really is an angel!!! <3 style="text-decoration: underline;">

Here is my card exchange for February 2009. There again I followed the crimped envelope card tutorial mentioned in one of the previous posts. This is my way of welcoming a Spring season that is taking its sweet time to really get here... and stay here...

I made a little notebook for Melanis so that she can keep track of the books she reads. I have one that was store bought (by Melanis) a few years ago and it is almost full... I was going to make one for myself, and that gave me the idea of making one for Melanis.

Today is Melanis's birthday... I can't even begin to tell you what I think and how i feel about this wonderful YOUNG lady... She means more to me than she'll ever know and having her in my life makes it awesome!

So here 's to you Melanis... Happy Birthday my love!

She is so talented... thank you again darling...

I believe...

I am really trying to get rid of my scraps, and as I was playing with them, I found 2 big pieces (the background of this layout) and somehow I was also thinking about my beliefs, so here is the result... made from only scraps once again... I am on a roll, and actually the amount of scraps is going down... until I create some more! lol

2008 recap

here is my view of the year 2008. Basically every month is a little scrapbooked space in itself, and once all put together the result is quite nice, I think. I had a lot of fun working on this page, which is also made only from scraps. If you get a chance, try making one. No shame in admitting that I scraplifted the idea from a magazine...

It's my birthday!

Today I am turning 36. I keep waiting fort he birthday that will affect me, and this year is not it. I am very proud of the age I am. Each and every year is a gift in life, and also a little more wisdom added!!!!
A little bonus this year: I was off for my birthday, courtesy of Mother Mature and its tantrum... Also what strikes me the most this year, compared to previous years, I received so many phone calls, emails, online posts and such, it was overwhelming and quite touching. The people in my life are a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!!!

baby Boy

Here is a card I made for an upcoming baby shower. I never made a baby card before so I got my inspiration from a few cards here and there and I ended up with this. I really like it. To be noted: this card is made ONLY from scraps. Even the piece of ribbon is a ribbon scrap...

You make my heart happy

I wanted to make a Valentine's Day card.... It is a "heart" card, but for the exception of the 2 red hearts, you will not find the typical V-Day colors here! I really cased that card from someone... A fun card to make and the result is really nice!
